Message	work harder to keep your business (they don't get warranty work for 3 years on the same car) and you can usually get to know the person (you will find it difficult to get past the service writer at most dealerships). IF you can find one who loves Zs and is experienced with them, they will also know more about the car than many dealer techs. Dealer techs training is always focused on the new product lines, so if they started working there after '96 they might not even have had a class in a Z. Wasn't meaning to be personal on the $ part; just a warning that there will be a need for repairs on the car, so plan for it and don't be shocked when it happens. And yes, Zs often cost a little more to fix than generic cars. Just goes with the territory, unfortunately.
